Perhaps RAM can't be addressed, but no other Application reports this behaviour, hence my assertion that it is VERY buggy this Sibelius. But the two statements are somewhat contradictory. It appears to be a rather obscure message as it doesn't offer a solution or particularly report an error, just that it is "Unable to Open" then "for Writing" would imply that the media to which the file is being written is corrupted, hence I ran Disk Utility twice now.
